In Classics Meet Cuba, the celebrated masters of classical improvisation from Germany join forces with Cuba’s finest percussionists. Their concerts and recordings have won critical acclaim worldwide as well as a Grammy nomination.
The extraordinary success of Classic Meets Cuba began in 2000, when the classics-jazz crossover trio The Klazz Brothers teamed up with two of Cuba’s most outstanding percussionists. To everyone’s surprise, the combination of the two different musical cultures blended naturally and spontaneously. Since this legendary encounter, Klazz Brothers and Cuba Percussion quickly became a worldwide musical sensation.
